When AIDS showed up in 1981, the crazy right-wingers used
it to make their stand. They won and now the US is one, big happy,
right-wing family. AIDS is still known as GRID - gay related immunity
disease. Homosexuals, fetishists, drug addicts and anyone who isn't
'normal' are shunned or sent to rehab centers to be 'fixed'. The
underground is all the oddballs of America have left.
